To truly make consent common sense, we need to do more than educate people, we need to reach people in the moment when it can make the biggest impact. So we turned to technology to create a series of memorable experiences that made consent a natural conversation rather than a lecture. We took a fun idea, reached out to as many partners as possible, and created a full-blown program.
LGC - Consent Drop
At music festivals, when people are often vulnerable and under the influence, we used AirDrop to deliver a message to everyone that made consent top of mind.
LGC - Hookup Station
Everyone
loves a night out, but when people are under the influence, boundaries get
crossed. To prevent harassment without killing their buzz, we transformed the
familiar experience of charging your phone into one that talked about consent.
Our experience went on to remind people
that just like plugging in your phone, consent can be withdrawn at any point
and for any reason.
